PHD Access Continues Its Commitment to Mental Health on World Mental Health Day

As we observe World Mental Health Day on 10th October, at PHD Access, we proudly reaffirm our unwavering commitment to the mental well-being of our employees and extend our support to the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity. This year’s global theme, “Mental Health is a Universal Human Right,” underscores the importance of mental health for everyone, regardless of their profession or background.

In the construction industry, we understand that the demands can be both physical and mentally challenging. As a company that values its employees’ holistic well-being, we are dedicated to fostering a healthy and supportive work environment where mental health is prioritised alongside physical health.

Unwavering Commitment

As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting mental health awareness, we are rolling out a comprehensive campaign that includes the distribution of posters and information cards to all our construction sites. These materials are designed to provide valuable information, resources, and support for employees struggling with mental health challenges. We are also scheduling toolbox talks to ensure that this vital information reaches all our employees.

Johnny Scanlon, General Manager at PHD Access Ireland, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, saying,

“Our employees are the heart and soul of our company. We recognise that their mental health is just as important as their physical well-being. By actively supporting initiatives like World Mental Health Day and collaborating with the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, we aim to create a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and encouraged to seek help when needed.”
