PHD Access Employees Support Irish Community Services

Two employees of PHD Access volunteered their time to deliver Christmas Hampers for the Irish Community Services (ICS) in December 2020.

Ian and Natalie joined the ICS team to distribute festive food parcels and gifts to elderly and vulnerable members of the Irish community in South-East London.

Vulnerable members of the Irish community

ICS is a charity that offers a range of services and activities to support the wellbeing and integration of the Irish community in Greenwich, Bexley and Lewisham. Founded in 1984 by local individuals who wanted to challenge negative stereotypes about the Irish, ICS has grown to become one of the largest Irish organisations in the UK.

Ian and Natalie said they were delighted to be part of the Christmas Hamper project, which aligns with the charity’s mission to foster a positive, affirmative image of the Irish community.

We are very proud to work for PHD Access, a company that values social responsibility and encourages its employees to get involved in charitable causes. We had a wonderful time delivering the hampers and seeing the smiles on people’s faces. It was a great way to spread some joy and show our appreciation for the Irish community,” they said.

ICS thanked Ian and Natalie for their generosity and dedication, and said they were grateful for the support of PHD Access and other local businesses and organisations.
