Ancillary Asbestos Licence Obtained

PHD Modular Access Services have been successful in attaining an ancillary Asbestos Licence from the HSE. This means that we can now provide access for licensable work including working in proximity to asbestos insulation, asbestos coating, asbestos insulating board or any other Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM’s) where it is foreseeable that the scaffolding activity is likely to disturb asbestos.

Licensing is an addition to the general framework of health and safety law. It is very resource intensive and exemplary management standards are expected of licence holders. As a matter of principle there is a greater degree of regulatory control from the HSE. So we are very proud of this latest achievement.
